šŸ’¬ Ya got three choices. They have to be a member, active, here. Who are you taking to a ball game? (The criteria has changed a bit, now it's a box.)

Let me see if I have picture stored on my computer this evening. I sure did. Me and my wife b
I'm mixing threads here...the steak house that we're going to open (when we find the property) is going to have a no cell phone rule.

Oh damn, another story.

Facebook sent out a device (when you advertised with them) that would automatically made a business a friend if they looked up FB when they were on our IP feed. I put a FB sticker on the door, put placards on every table with our password, and saw 100's of new "followers" every week. I mean...dude. We're covering our 'nut' before Happy Hour hits just off of FB advertising.

I hate 'net access in a bar or restaurant now.

I need to step away...rant coming.

Oh gawd...she's looking over my shoulders and saying...

"You spent the same amount on FB advertising as you did on your tab on Tuesday and Thursday."

And she is right. I did that as a budget.

This is a table @Krimson would be at...Brandon is a definite...not sure about the third. @bama alum comes to mind because he's been traveling and eating lately. (Although, he hates places tourists don't know about.)
Let me in on the bad food stop so I know to just have a beer and I'm down. I've eaten at several crab/ seafood joints with the hole in the table. Don't recall any being bad.

Since I didn't make the list, I'll head to applebee and drown myself in cheap beer.

Actually. @TerryP

She would say ....... hell yes....
We are pretty regular there n she loves the Bahama mamas.
Plus. We live in a pretty limited location
( Applebees or Mexican)

& Justneed. And she tolerates a lot of Bama football talk. Even throws in a zinger or 2( or many). So have to be up on ur game

And like the no cell phone policy. No phones. No facebook. No answering calls.

It's like the menu from the 70's you see...with the little black letters they posted between the slots. In my experience the last few years if a place has that menu...eat. The "gas station friend chicken vibe," ya know?

The hole in the table is 100 percent correct. UNLESS, it's a chain. No worries...don't do chain places much. I'd rather eat popcorn from the local Cinemark theatre.

Ahhh Applebees!!!!

When I was going through my divorce, they had karaoke on Sunday nights till like 2:30. Sunday night was the only night I didn’t have my son. So that became a regular stop for me. Closest ā€œbarā€ open late Sunday nights. I had 2 little waitresses that started driving me home and usually staying the night!!!
Yeah every time someone talks Applebees, I get a big smile and a far off look!!!!!

I missed the location because a group of Mexican's came in and bought the church...turned into a grocery store. Hesitation can cost you.

If I can find the location...imagine walking into a steak restaurant, on "Rare Wednesday," and being told no cell phones in "The Church." It's one of those things I know will work for a few years and then you get out.

I get this.

There was one across the street from the mall I used to stop in on my way home. LIterally, got "dosed" in the bar one day. I never went back. It was GHB, I know it. But, if I would have KNOWN it...not a big deal. If whomever dropped that and told me I might have said, "okay." I know the drug. That was the straw on the camel's back.

Aight. The only thing AppleSouth put out that was good food was Hops.

Take this one to the bank.

You don't want more than 3/4 of a cup of this...it's a mix with lemon juice (squeezed, fresh) and dry white wine. Here is the "to taste" part. You want salt, and pepper (ground.) Thyme is a necessity here. Sugar as well, but only a touch...call it a TBL spoon.

Heavy whipping cream (call it a cup) and REAL butter (another cup.) Call it 1lb of medium shrimp.

Shrimp is prepared...sauce is dropped over the shrimp on your choice of bread. This is another "your call." I used toasted garlic toast (TX, most of the time.)

It's a really good dish if you are willing to spend 10 or so minutes in the kitchen...versus what at the restaurant. Fifty? Doing the math...it's not more than a five bucks dish that feeds four.

All joking aside, I would need a skybox for (almost) all of the members on here. Most are sincere & I respect that. They aren’t afraid to state an opinion, but it doesn’t have to get infantile (again, almost all).
I could only list 3, but I’d definitely sneak in 50+, Mike, @Rsedge72 , @Kirk Van de Graaff , @Sgt. Lincoln Osiris , @It Takes Eleven , @TerryP , (and my apologies to those I’ve missed). I’d also sneak in @Bammerboy321 & Jose’s Wales just to hear endless bitching lol! Jk
Let's go!
