🏈 Dumb as Bricks?

Are you talking about the officer as well?

The officer requested Davis hand over his identification, but Davis looked at the officer with a “shunning face,” according to the report.

A shunning face?!?!? WTH is a shunning face?

Once Officer Zachary White had placed Davis into the patrol car, he returned to address the noise violation concerning Powe. According to the report, while White wrote the citation for a noise violation, Powe said, “Zachary White, I got you. I’ll remember that.”
White asked if Powe would read the bottom of the citation and sign it to ensure he would show up in court, but Powe stated he could not read and would not sign, the report said.

Or, perhaps that's what you mean by "dumb as bricks?"

dummies, I don't think if I was a college athlete I would say that I couldn't read, even if I couldn't. Hello how is he making it through college.

He can't read barney. He's not making that up. The Powe saga is a long one that's dragged on for several years now. The kid got through school like a lot of other kids in the South do. He had some athletic ability so he was passed along through the system year after year not knowing anything.

Initially it came out that the kid couldn't read, and that's why he could never make it into Ole Miss (legally anyway). Then his mother changed the story saying that Powe was dyslexic. Whatever? So he's dyslexic and that is why he can't read or write a lick? Please!

I'm not sure whatever came of it, but at one point (I believe the year before last) Powe's family hired a lawyer to try and pressure Ole Miss into letting him into school. You see that he is in school now. Not sure if that was due to lawyers, the NCAA or what? More than likely he just met the entrance requirements. Cause he's like....really smart and stuff. :lance:

He Davis were clearly acting like fools and not showing any respect to law enforcement.
