They are playing Yale Monday night. It won't change my mind.
Two, I still question how much we can judge SEC play based on Bama's pre-season schedule (as it has been.)
That said.
People point to size. I am there, but not 100 percent. It's got to size that has talent: and I don't think that's the biggest problem.
A defense that doesn't have to double Bama's "skill guys," and can run a decent offensive set? It's a flip of a coin on who wins. AZ had that.
Seniority. Experience, maturity...like AZ again. They were "punched," and it didn't phase them.
I'm happy with E-8 as an achievement. Skill, but not there in maturity: today.
I don't think we're looking at a 5-12 game...but it's a worse case scenario.
