I would be remiss to say since we are in a seemingly OG appreciation thread:

I remember @It Takes Eleven coming to see me when I was at one of my lowest lows. He popped in on me one day after I was attempting to recover in the hospital. I was coming off a two week induced coma and Tim comes and visits me and I am all morphined up. Only the Lord and Tim knows what I had to say that day but it has always meant so much that he would take time to check up on me.

All kidding aside, I was moved by the Lord to come see you - Cartersville, right? We were all worried about you. I think I ran into you a few years later in Acworth. You looked a might better...

I talked my way to within about forty feet of @rick4bama when he was recuperating in Roanoke (I think it was Roanoke), but the nurse was having none of it. I really thought my story of being an illegitimate grandson was going to fly. I left some Bama stuff and rolled on.

By the way @Kirk Van de Graaff, I have not had lemonade in over 2 years now after having covid, all lemon things started tasting really bad and last year the same happened with chocolate and I have giving both things up.

This website is what everyone makes it and I have made some great friends on here and would do whatever I could to help any of them at any moment and I wish I had more time to post but I have been having a lot of family issues with my dads cancer since 2019 so when I have a free day I am up in Fort Payne doing what i can to help out

I would say the reason so many of us have been around for so long is because you guys make it so easy to want to be here, differing opinions don’t get anyone banned, there’s great content here, and it’s a easy board to navigate.

All I did was call BS on one guy. Porkchop chimed in with me and Jess had to clear it up. LOL

Earle Worm. Pompous windbag. I was banned in 09 for slapping around that socialist in charge of the free speech forum, that was when I took root here. I had a few convos with Bayou, I think he passed before I was banned. He was on the jury that convicted Barry Seale.

God help anyone who got in a debate with @AlaphaMale. I was hoping he'd pop in during the Miller bull crap.

I go back to the CrimsonTusks days with the 323 Award, etc. I was really worried what would change with the change over but as with anything, it's the people that make the difference (good or ill). For me, this community has become correllated to 'Bama ball as any much as an other Icon/player in our history. I simply cannot/willnot seperate one from the other.

I am extremely thankfull for all those that have made this thing work. And I am more than willing to help cover costs around here. Put me on a list for that... seriously. Just don't tell my wife.
