So just caught wind of this, apparently this happened 4 days ago, 28 of them gone. They will now move to freelance (haha) photogs...
I don't know anything about the newspaper business, but I would imagine that its about relationships just like everything else. Thinking that the freelancers won't have the access that some of the previous staff had due to their long standing relationships.
Sure gonna be interesting to see how this works out, will others follow suit? Will the Sun-Times revert back to full time employees?
