Bit of an ugly game in some cases, but they did enough to win. On the good side, Lebron was 3-4 with 2 walks. Hodo has his best offensive game in a while, 2-2 (HR) and 2 walks. Bonomolo Jr. stayed hot, 3-5 and a walk. On the mound... Lehman, Morris, Banks, and Ozmer all pitched will (consecutively). They combines to throw 4 1/3 innings, 0 hits, 8 K's, 2 walks.
The not so good news... Bama hitters struck out 15 times, which is becoming an issue here lately. Fowler with an uncharatistice 3 K's. Plattner, in his first game back in a while, had 4 (also uncharacteristic for him). Alcock, Finiteri, and Blackwood were the first 3 on the mound for Bama, and none of them looked sharp. But, Bama had enough to get it done.
Next up: Missouri at The Joe starting Thursday night. Said it already, but Bama needs to really get back on track during this series... a great opportunity to get right and bank some wins.
