Rode the train from downtown Boston to watch the Pats in 2015 while working up there, Thursday game. Not snowing, but cold as balls for a southern guy. Not as cold as tailgating at the last Metrodome Vikings night game. My beer can kept sticking to my fingers. Gillette is a fun environment, but like a lot of pro games, much different than a college atmosphere.
This game is ridiculous with the wind. No way to even think of throwing the ball and Damien Harris just ran it for 65 yards for the TD. The defense knows they were running and still got gashed. Patriots didn't even think about kicking after the last punt only went 13 yards, just went for 2 on the groud and got it.
Strange game last night. Bills passed the ball and had some level of success. Pats stuck to the game plan of run only, even when the game was in the balance. Their D stood up at the end in the red zone and saved the game. The Pats were like watching an old Ga Tech team minus the triple option. How they ran for 200+ yards when the entire world knew they were going to run is impressive.
I was finally gonna get to see Mac play a game that I had circled for about a week, never looked at the weather, and then I freaking get that. Atleast Damien Harris had a great game.
These MOY nominees are great. Probably the highest honor these guys will ever get and they are great ambassadors for the University of Alabama. Well done gentlemen...
