🏈 🏈 Alabama in the NFL/CFL ~ 2021 -2022 season.

Macs INT last night was a well thrown ball that the defender made a great move on to intercept. He's 7th in passing yardage, 3rd in Completion percentage, tied for 14th in TD, Tied with Brady for INT (better than Ryan, Stafford, or Jackson). All that as a rookie. Argue all you want that it is the Patriots and not Mac, but Cam Newton couldn't come close to this last year so it takes a good portion of the QB himself.

Harris and Hightower were being called all night and Barmore was involved, and often highlighted by the announcers as a beast, in most every play he was on the field for. Great night for Bama recruiting.

Haven't you heard fig newton is back he said so :(. Netwton is a clown. Always has been. Talented yes but between the ears and character, he is a clown.

Watched more nfl than I have in decades last night just to see how Mac and the bama kids were doing. They did great. Happy for them still not a fan of the woke pro sports but they are making some $$$ so good for them.

All of the commentators were talking about how great Cam was in that game and talk about how good the Panthers are going to be with him back. But you don't see the stats. He was 3/4 passing for 8 yards and a TD and rushed 3 times for 14 yards and a TD. Looks like he was in for 9 plays (2 hand offs to the RB included) in certain situations.

Center got a holding call for tackling Barmore. If he hadn't, Ryan may have been done for the night. :)

I definitely agree. Mac has been better than anyone this year. They will definitely say it's the Patriots, Belechik or McDaniels, but where were they last year? They all of a sudden just click and get it together, or did they have a solid draft class that is helping them win? We know Mac and Barmore or outperforming their draft selections, so I'm going with it's the draft class they brought in.

Some folks are still digging in their heels on Mac and how they said he would bust, but a lot are finally coming around and realizing what we all knew and saw. Even Tyrann Matheui gave him a ringing endorsement. Folks in the Bay area still trying to act as if Lance was the better draft choice.

He may be in 10 years, but draft classes can't rely on anyone playing for you for 10 years. You draft for the next 2-3 at most.

I saw that. Barmore was held a lot more than that but it was so blatant on that particular play they had no choice.

Mac plays very smart. Doesn’t throw down field very often, but makes smart throws. I thought the INT was a bad decision, watching it live and the replay shown, but I may have been off. He made an incredible throw the play before it to the TE then I thought tried too hard on that throw. No way it was making it to the receiver who had defenders in front and behind him. He shows a lot of poise under pressure. Took a few big sacks but guys came unblocked. He made a nice dump off in the first half with a guy running full speed at him. I’ve been really impressed.

You're exactly right. Owners, coaches, and fans want to win now, not five-ten years down the road.
Not just that, but you only have a player for so many years after you draft them. Once they get to their second contract they may leave. And of course injury is always lurking around the corner. If you have the luxury of letting a player spend a few years developing, that usually means you are getting a mid to late first rounder at best.

I'm putting this here it not NFL/CFL! But it the pro NBA? Colin Sexton has sometype of injury out for the seaon? Does any one know what type of injury? Go it of the bottom line on the SEC Network? Since we have a few in the NBA shouldn't the title be updated? NFL/CFL/NBA? That firend of my just ask Why?
