This is going to be fun! Roll Tide! We’re living in the greatest era of Alabama football! I know Saban has retired but has he really? Him behind the scenes helping this program and helping DeBoer evaluate players, and NIL deals. This will be Awesome! Can you imagine Saban telling parents that “No I’m not coaching but I’m here! DeBoer is a great coach and I endorsed him.” Not saying that’s the way it will go but, I think it could help!

CNS knows there can only be one chief but he will help the program in any way he can. With that said Debeor as direct access to the greatest to ever do it. He should tap into that well often.
With coaching changes you never know, but in the past I’ve had heartburn over coaches being replaced fired or whatever. But, with this hire I’ve got a good feeling.

Washington has guys decommitting and asking to be released from their NLI. I know a few of them are being contacted by our staff, Courtney Morgan and Coach DeBoer. I wouldn't be surprised just like their staff to see a few of these guys transfer here.

So Ffrench did decommit, but said quickly in an interview that he will still be taking an official to Bama soon. He committed to Saban and wants to come in with a fresh mind I guess. Anyways, there's a lot of time and we can still get him to sign.

In all fairness, I would expect any recruit with options to re-evaluate now that’s it’s a different coach and possibly a different scheme.

I understand. It's more of, if you're still interested, why decommit until you're 100% sure you're not moving on? Spot may not be there next time.

Ryan Williams got a call from DeBoer and decided to set another official to Bama. IF we also get Trob back, I like our chances to bring him back in.

I guess it's never stopped any of them before. I know we don't stop recruiting when a guy commits elsewhere. Just a knee jerk decision it seems.
