Thank goodness we cleaned up at the early signing period. This much movement probably keeps us from finishing strong but coaching is everything. If we don't get the right coaches in place, recruiting won't mean much.
It's not ideal, but I don't see this have a huge effect on how the class ends. Heck, it's still a bit of a fluid situation with the number still looking to be at five or six more to be added.
The timing didn't work out on Tosh to the NFL in regard to February's signing date. In a perfect world for announcements they would've wanted it as quiet as possible. The issue came up about a week ago when you started hearing suggestion of his move to the NFL. A Tennessee recruiting guy caught the story, it's news to UT folks, and now it's national. (As a side note, I caught a glimps of a Rocky Top Talk article suggesting UT was now leading for To'oto'o a prospect some have said was Tosh's target. CJPan has been on him BTW.)
The choice of To'oto'o is one to watch. It's an interesting one because I feel he has a great opportunity contribute as a true frosh. All signs say he's got the head for the position, ya know? OR...he could have a great opportunity at UT as well. The kid is a player.
Other than To'oto'o, were you thinking about losing another guy they're targeting?
