Oats served as an assistant last summer on the U19 Team under head coach Tommy Lloyd during their training camp in Colorado and he's now been named to the staff (led by Grant) that will coach the U18 team in the 2026 FIBA U18 Men's AmeriCup from June 1-7. Obviously, a good opportunity for Oats and a good opportunity for recruiting. Some may recall, he worked with guys like Dybansta, Caleb Holt, and Jasper Johnson last summer with the U19 squad. The U18 roster for this summer has not yet been announced.
