I don't have a clue. I have to wonder if he's really considered the implications of where he is today. The runner-up gets three years worth of exemptions to the major events plus a lot of sponsorships IF he remains an amateur.
He has a new option of hitting the PGA Tour University 'Accelerated' ... easier path to a card there.

If he wins today he'll join Jerry Pate as the only two guys to win this from UA.
If he wins today he'll be one of two guys, in history, to win this tournament and the US Junior. Tiger was the other.
If I were him, would I go? Win or lose, I'm hitting the tour.

The off-centered Nike Swoosh on the back of Shipley's shirt is way more bothersome to me than it should be.
