| FTBL Alabama football coaching staff changes and updates...

I'd say 2 straight National Championships is getting over that barrier.
Kirbs won’t get 6 or 7 NCs…There won’t be a repeat of what Saban did…Not while the transfer portal and NIL are going on as status quo without rules and regulations. You have 5 stars, 4 stars even 3 stars leaving after 1.5 and 2 years. It’s impossible to build any depth. It’s almost like you have to work as many people in to make them happy.

That’s an added bonus of what Kirbs used to do here and still does…two platoon defensive line and linebackers…keeps them fresh, develops depth and now keeps them happy because they get playing time.

You're going to have a lot of SUPER TEAMS kinda like Ohio State and Texas. They're loading up using NIL money to try to buy a championship via the portal and recruiting.

Iowa needs an Offensive coordinator that would be a good landing spot for Tommy Rees..
Interviewing for the Iowa Hawkeyes Offensive Coordinator postion in 2024:

Kirk Ferentz: Very nice resume you have here... say, let me ask you something though coach....

OC Candidate: Go ahead.

Kirk Ferentz: My vision for your offense is simply this: I want an offense so conservative, it makes the late Marty Schottenheimer look like Steve Spurrier in the 90s... are you capable of implementing such an offense?

And, "are you a blood relative?"

Didn't say he'd get 6 or 7, but he could.

Explore this, yes he won 2. One year he did not beat a Bama team at full strength in the SEC championship. He did beat Bama in the NC w/o their two 1000+ yard receivers. The next year he did not have to play Bama. The last time he played CNS and Bama was this year and we know what happened in that game. That does not seem like getting over the barrier. He did not do that while CNS was there and I argue he would not have his first NC if we had our receivers. No way to prove that of course....
True, but injuries are a part of the game.
