Not a ton of Grubb content out there, but some decent insight here on a couple of things...

Interesting play actions with half-rolls and mesh concepts to scheme to find the hole in the defense.

Looks like they love using wheel for athletic running backs and those that aren't speedy they tend to use arrow to get them up the field more.

Washington vs Texas breakdown in CFP - Some different concept looks obviously. Can see a bit of what Grubb does against good defenses. Just finds his playmakers and finds ways to put them in space and at worst in 1 v 1 situations.

With Washington's offense, is there a lot of preshift/presnap motion? Watching the Sugar Bowl right now and it looks like what stands out the most are the WR route trees. But not a lot of presnap movement. I hope he adapts to that.

Depends on the play seems like. Some of the plays it doesn't matter what the defense is in, but in some plays he uses pre-snap motion to figure out the defensive situation so the QB knows what read to start with.

Didn't see this post. Good deal. Sounds like we're getting a solid OC who knows how to move the pocket. Rees strung together solid gameplans in November, the most important time in the regular season. Hopefully both the HC and OC can maximize our potential in that time as well.

Pretty important now for him to assemble an elite staff. Kirby is going scorched earth now that the GOAT is no longer around.
My 2 cents on the defensive side:

Keep Freddie Roach
Keep Bala (especially if William Inge isn't coming along)
Keep Hutzler (may have butchered that spelling)
Morrell as DC/safeties
Julius Brown as CB coach

This is purely hypothetical but kinda the approach I might take to the defensive side.

Things could still change I think based on what happens at UW (and maybe some other dominoes falling), but the word late yesterday afternoon was that Shepard, Marks, Huff and Grubb were planning to come with him. There was chatter that Cox stood a decent chance to be retained. The other side of the ball, he supposedly wants to bring at least a couple of defensive guys but also wants to sit down with the current UA guys. Robinson bolting to UGA was not a surprise obviously, but I think that clears the spot for his co-DC Chuck Morrell.
Read that T-Rob may not be a done deal. But it’s the internet so….
