So does this mean that Harbaugh doesn’t control the NFL timelines? 🤔
Still gonna point this out, I haven't said a word about Harbaugh controlling the NFL...not sure where that dude decided I said that but I got tired of reminding him of what I was actually saying which was "Jim Harbaugh will hold out until Feb 1st" looking at that statement it was a gut feeling and it looks like I was wrong. So I'll eat my crow knowing my called shot didn't work out. He was right about one thing, the portal will open on Michigan before Feb 1st.

I appreciate a man who can admit when he is wrong…🫡

So far what I've heard is Feb 1st is the cutoff date for the transfer to be in effect before spring. Some guys may get waivers, some may not. We shall see how many want to transfer. They're hiring within house once he leaves anyways so they may not deal with as many as we had overall.

I know some people said January 24th was the cutoff for some schools so not sure if it's different depending on the school or if the feb 1st deadline is the one that's upheld.
Each school has a date for the last day you can add/drop a class. Every school is different.

As well as every player. There are players at Bama who are taking Spring I and Spring II classes. I mentioned schools under quarter systems yesterday. Those classes can differ from one to the other with the online classes available.

From high school kids reclassifying to graduates getting fifth years ... whole landscape has changed a lot inside of the last decade.

I don't think so, Sherrone Moore is going to be the next coach almost 95% sure on that. Unless some big name coach they didn't know about wants to take over, I doubt they'd change the course
MIght be a bit short sited of them... but I don't know the guy to know if he's a short stop gap or a long term solution. My guess is a stop gap to help keep recruits and players, but in the end that might bite them in the arsse.

I think it will bite them in the ass, but they probably KNOW they're about to be hit with some kinda bs from the NCAA and they're wanting a bridge coach to keep some of the team together.
