Probably looking for a safe bet before his boss bolts to Ann Arbor without him

I don't know if the rumor of Kelly wanting to go to Michigan is legit. I don't see any upside to him leaving LSU for Michigan only that it's easier to win up there. If Kelly does leave, I can't see Kiffin bolting for LSU for this year, not after what they did in transfer portal.

We talked about it last hiring cycle, but Freeze and auburn have finally lured Charles Kelly back... Freeze was pushed hard by the influencers to get either him or Robinson back last year, but failed to get it done. Its long been expected that he would make a move for a new OC after the bowl game as well ever since he took over the play calling mid season.

We are better since he left

Nothing has happened yet on this front... and I'm a bit surprised it is dragging on. Inquired about it to a plugged in auburn friend... Sounds like Freeze is wanting to cull several on staff but is having some trouble on the decisions, some due to pressure from others, some due to his belief that 1 year with that roster may not have been a fair gauge. The interesting nugget (to me anyway) is the belief that Freeze may be slow playing the staff changes until the transfer portal closes for their team (midnight tonight) in an effort to keep at least 1 key player from bolting. The belief is still, at the very least, a new OC will be brought in though... possibly his OC that he had at Liberty who currently holds an off the field position.

Harbaugh has wanted out, he just needs a dance partner. The Chargers are the likely partner at this point, as they've cleared out the HC and GM, have a roster that can win, and unlike in the past... are willing meet the high salary demands.

A little update to this, the Raiders have regained the upperhand for Harbaugh's services. I wouldn't call it a lock at this point, but they are the frontrunner and things are falling into place...

Yep he’s getting out like Pete Carrol! Michigan will get stripped of titles and wins, and he’ll be in the NFL leaving them to hold the bag!

The problem with college sports is that once the title is won, who cares about if it gets stripped later.

If you want to hold people and things like this accountable you need to find a way to speed up the NCAA process or create a new governing body who can handle such things in a timely expedited manner but fairly.

Washington has hired Jedd Fisch‒Arizona. .
Beat me too it. Going to add to that though

Reasons why this might affect Bama:

1) Ryan Grubb might be a candidate to take over as Arizona's next head coach. Already seen some people saying they are interested in him.

2) Portal Opens for Arizona Players:

Tetairoa McMillan is an absolute beast of a WR - 90 receptions 1402 yards 15.58 average per reception 10 TD and 107.85 yards per game
Jacob Cowing is also a very good WR - 90 receptions 848 yards 9.42 average 13 TDs 65.23 yards per game.

If I'm DeBoer or Morgan, I'm definitely working on getting these in my offense.
