No disrespect LBS, but I don't see losing Julio as both good and bad. I don't see a bit of good in it.
Allow me to explain my thoughts.
Julio was unique, and Julio-unique plays were learned, practiced and used to the exclusion plays for the deep well of WRs that can't do what he can do. Without Julio taking those reps in practice, we can tailor our WR efforts toward having an ever rotating system of 4 star studs with fresh legs. Top speed Receivers every play. It never stops.
Next, because we now have interchangable parts, we need not fear what do we do if Julio gets hurt? Teams are always drop off due to injuries. We will not worry about that at WR, and that is a wonderful advantage.
Finally, consider other teams who have that one lock-down cornerback, like LSU's Paterick Peterson. Who do they match them up with? Regardless of the answer we don't lose. We just rearrange assignments, and keep on moving. In that manner we negate their best with one of something that we have a bus load of. THAT is true benefit of having depth in the roster. Auburn has shown us that anyone can field that one special player. Bama now has a chance to field that which other schools don't...years of top 3 recruiting classes.
