I think you are flamming (that means lying) when you allege someone is claiming a national champtionship over their recruiting success. That would be as crazy as getting rings and having a parade when a lonely teenager sets up a website and proclaims his favorite team national champion.

Having a highly ranked class certainly bodes well for the future, but, no, I didn't see a post claiming a national championship over a #1 recruiting class.

While I don't believe that you can evaluate a recruiting class before it takes the field, I am excited about the prospects, as most of us are. Are you telling us we are wrong to feel that way?

I remember Bama winning nine in a row and we never held up any fingers, much less had t-shirst printed. It just seemed normal to us. Do you think that will ever happen with auburn folks? I doubt it.

I can answer that one. It is called R.E.S.P.E.C.T

The media and everyone else looks at Auburn as a second rate school. That’s why auburn can go undefeated and still can’t get into the championship game. Until they show it to the rest of the SEC and round other conferences they will never receive it from anyone else including the media and it will be another 50 plus years before they win another championship.

College football, much like life, goes in cycles. Alabama was on top for several years, now auburn is.

It is only a matter of time before bama is on top.

I believe the main reason bama is having trouble on the field is the off the field problems.

wonderful insight :roll: , the only difference is when bama is on top, they recieve hardware (and not from a 13 year old boys website ran by his aunt Linda). auburn is the joke they are b/c they can't win championships.
