How many fans does a Mercer, MTSU, Georgia Southern, Southern Miss, or UT Chattanooga, etc bring for an overnight stay in Tuscaloosa?

Probably more than one would think, even if it was only 500-1500 fans total. Kickoff time might often lead to their fans at least coming in town on Friday night and staying 1 night. Let’s say $150 a night, 2 people per room, minimum $50 for 1 meal. The small numbers still add up.

Even if its 1500-3000...there are 40-50 thousand bama fans from out of town. Maybe more. Maybe less.

Like most visiting team fans, they stay in Birmingham because it’s cheaper than a $400 per night, three day minimum at the Days Inn.

There is one place in northport thats around 100$. Fills up fast
