šŸˆ Here's one of those random, but wild, numbers/stats. Since 2000, LSU has lost 14 games in Baton Rouge on a Sat night. Among those you'll find...

...UArk (2X,) both Mississippi schools, and Florida

The other nine losses all came from schools in the state of Alabama.

UAB, Troy, Auburn, and Bama (six times.)

And you wonder why they hate the state of Alabama?
As you know @TerryP playing in Tiger Stadium has never been a real problem for Bama with regards to the results on the field. Was tougher when CNS was there but not really much befofe or after.

Red Stick at night is one of my all time favorite road trip games . As you said, Bama’s has had their number there a bunch. And as fate would have it LSU has done fairly well in Tuscaloosa too all things considered. My most miserable LSU game was the November 79 game Bama won 3-0 in a very chilly rain. I’ve never been that cold and wet at a game since that one because I never went unprepared to another game! I bet 8 out of 10 fans on both sides who stayed to the end were smashed by the time the clock hit 00.00. I know our group was as was everyone in our area … mainly LSU fans. Talk about 3 yards and a cloud of mud. Bama was I think 1/3 on field goals but the one won it!
