i cannot believe how little press the #1 team in the nation is recieving..

every day i pull up national news sites in order to read any new articles about the tide.. with the exception of the normal post game recap, there is no mention of bama at all..

the irony of this is that things could not be any more perfect.. we are the underdog in the driver's seat.. we cannot be overwhelmed by all the hype and media attention because it doesn't exist.. when people look back at this season it will be one of the greats.. much like the 92 team, in the future we will be remembered as the favored team..

perfect situation and you know saban loves it. when bama starts creating more offensive highlights they will be covered more, but a.d.d. america isnt ready to break down bama's d for 10 minutes. :)

i can't really blame them. Bama is winning, but playing sloppy.

Florida is dominating and making fun games of it.

Texas Tech is doing the same thing.

These other teams i.e. Texas Tech, Florida and all them...they're the flavor of the month. That's why everyone is on their bandwagon. Bama just has to keep winning and prove the nation wrong YET AGAIN, for the 13th time, that we are national champions whether they like it or not and that these flavors of the month are just chaff before the wind :)

It's always been this way. Whatever team scores 50 a game and makes it a track meet is loved by the press. You have to admit scoring is a lot of fun if it's your team scoring.

Here's where I differ from a lot of football fans. I'd much rather see a 9-6 type ball game with great defense than a 56-49 game with no defense.

No, your 3-2 game doesn't count. :D

Yup, I can watch that all day as well. 3-0 win in the Iron Bowl will work for me.

That's not fair!!! Why not, it was a classic low scoring game, loaded with defense. Or was it both teams sucked, I can't remember. I started drinking a little early that day.

I have to confess, I didn't watch that game.

FWIW, interesting stories coming from a few that I know regarding MSU's hiring a new OC...may have some interest to you as well. No, it isn't Tony.

I've read a couple of things about Borges, as well.

That is because the 9-6 game is real football. That other crap is basketball on grass.

Alabama vs. Tennessee back in 2005. 6-3.

One of the best football games I've ever watched! Every play meant something! Every field goal meant something. Every touchdown...oh wait.

I would hardly refer to Florida as a "flavor of the month" but Tech fits. That said, I like that we're predicted to lose badly.

We all know the media loves em some Tebow. He is the greatest thing ever, haven't you heard??? Every time I turn on a sports show it's the same thing, how Florida is gonna be playing for a NC.
