Great video, make sure you evaluate all his coaches during his youth. He seems to have good field vision at his youth. I am sure coaches already see his potential. How old is he?

He is 9 years old. This is his 2nd season playing. His 1st season was pretty good too but not to this extent.

Coaching is no doubt extremely important and I am going to try to ensure he is with good coaches while he is in rec ball. Once he hits middle school there isn't much I can do except move to change who coaches him. At the rec level I can actually get waivers to play for different teams. I haven't had to do that though.

Good luck to the little fella, I know you are proud.

I do believe I see a theme running through this clip. :D

I especially like the highlights against the purple and gold team; I hope in 10 years the young man is wearing crimson and doing the same thing to the Bayou Bengals.

Welcome to the board, supra. Keep supporting your boy but also remember to give him enough open field to allow him to run on his own.

RTR!

The major thing is coaching BEFORE middle school/varsity. Most bad habits are formed in pee-wee/rec football.

Your kid looks very good. Maybe we'll see him in Crimson one day.
