🏈 Bama more dialed in this offseason

During Coach Saban's first year at Bama, I had a good friend who's son was attending school there. My fried said that his son called him and during their conversation, (as it turned to football) his son said, "Dad, Saban has them making pizzas out there!" His dad said, "What? Pizzas!?!?" "
Yeah dad, they're throwing up all over the practice field! It looks like pizzas laying on the ground!"

That's what they need to get back to.

Two books about Coach Bryant are in my collection: one is about his first year at Bama and the other is about brothers who played for him. While Coach Bryant was having them, to do, I think it was wind sprints. Two brothers were doing them together and as they cross the finish line one brother just kept running right out of the stadium.
@rueben you right Bama need more to quit and toss those cookies. Like Bryant said, I would want them to quit in participle then in a game. We have a few to do this in an NCG. Also, let see those pizza all over the field.

Talk is cheap. All this 'Bama standard THIS' & the 'Bama standad THAT' doesn't mean anything. Bust ass within the roster. Don't make a public spectacle about it. Make it about getting better as a TEAM & get after it.

And sometimes new blood is needed. I haven't looked it up yet, but is anyone on the current roster a player on the 2020 NC team? I suspect there are none. Hopefully, this entire roster is hungry in a way that no 'Bama team has experienced in the last 17 years. Maybe, just maybe, we'll have new team leadership whose observations of previous leadership, doesn't sit well, & actually busts ass on the field.

Lastly, I hope these guys have seen that a lot of the stuff CKD let them do had nothing to do with championship ball. All that clutter needs to go. If it doesn't make you better on the field, then forget about it.

I put all my memories if 2024 in a small box and placed in the attic. That was a clusterfeck of a year in so many ways.

Hopefully coaches and players learned a lot of tuff lessons, but I believe that Kalen learned the most. If you're going to lose, then do it 100 % your way. Find those players that want to work hard and show discipline and Class.

It's 2008 again but with a different guy with the whistle. Hope it goes well.
