| FTBL video:Check out my son's highlight clip

.
Man! Your boy is a natural running back it seems. Keep him away from Auburn or he'll be on the defensive line.

Great video, make sure you evaluate all his coaches during his youth. He seems to have good field vision at his youth. I am sure coaches already see his potential. How old is he?

He is 9 years old. This is his 2nd season playing. His 1st season was pretty good too but not to this extent.

Coaching is no doubt extremely important and I am going to try to ensure he is with good coaches while he is in rec ball. Once he hits middle school there isn't much I can do except move to change who coaches him. At the rec level I can actually get waivers to play for different teams. I haven't had to do that though.

Good luck to the little fella, I know you are proud.

Strong first post, Supra...hard to beat some good old Pee-Wee football. Gotta love it, it is the purest form the the game.

I do believe I see a theme running through this clip. :D

I especially like the highlights against the purple and gold team; I hope in 10 years the young man is wearing crimson and doing the same thing to the Bayou Bengals.

Welcome to the board, supra. Keep supporting your boy but also remember to give him enough open field to allow him to run on his own.

RTR!

The major thing is coaching BEFORE middle school/varsity. Most bad habits are formed in pee-wee/rec football.

Your kid looks very good. Maybe we'll see him in Crimson one day.

he has a great natural stride. his legs go way back behind his body. hard to teach that.

can't wait to see him in crimson. :)

He look patient too. He waits for his hole but MAN once he turns the corner *poof* GONE!
He doesn't shy away from contact either.

Nice looking football player you have there.

Lil guy has got good vision and knows how to use his blockers. He also looks good in that red or white uni. Better make sure he plays with the Tide when he grows up :D

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Last year my son had 13 TDs, this year he had 33. While I don't expect that type of production it was fun to see him excel another year and become a more complete running back. I'm hopeful that he will continue to play well. Regardless its fun to have the clips for memories.

Your son looks like a winner. Try to get him to Alabama's camps every summer if you can. He'll have a lot of fun and learn a lot of stuff. :)

That's the best thing to do, get him to the camps as soon as he's old enough. He's got a lot of natural abilities it looks and runs really strong for his age.

AMAZING!

The play starting at 3:16 and 5:12 are wonderful. Very Moreno-esque. He screwed a couple of kids right into the ground. His stop/start cut is outstanding.

A kid that age who knows how to WAIT FOR HIS BLOCK, is awesome! Most college kids can't even wait for a block! lol

Very cool. Best of luck to him!!!
