I hate to hear that. I had the opportunity to meet his parents--stayed at the same hotel as us for the Bama- USM game. Ran into them again in Baton Rouge at the LSU game. They were very friendly, and you could tell they were extremely proud of Victor.
I will keep Victor and his family in thoughts and prayers.
Just heard about it on the radio a little while ago. We'll miss you, Victor. We are comforted by the fact that you are now resting in the arms of your Savior, and as it says in scripture: "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints."-Psalm 116:15
This is just heartbreaking. I pray for his family and friends. Like Derrick Thomas Victor was taken way too soon. We don't understand God's ways though. This is a tough one.
This hits home for me. Victor was a HUGE childhood hero for me. He went to Red Bank HS in Chattanooga. Thats basically my school and I watched him play. I chose #9 in Pee Wee football because of him. He was a great guy and he will be extremely missed. It was a sad day for Bama fans and others.
