| FTBL UT Head Coach Fulmer out. (merged threads)

Those chair stacking classes might be coming in handy after all...

Fulmer addressed his team at 4pm and told them of his resignation. Many already knew because in a Sunday night meeting, Hamilton told Fulmer of his decision and the news broke Monday morning.

When Hamilton addressed the players, I’m told, many rebelled, yelling, cursing and throwing chairs. It was an ugly scene.

The anger spilled over to the press conference an hour later.

The guy brings up a good point.

Hamilton did well with his move to get rid of Buzz and bring in Pearl. (that program did go through 4 coaches before landing on Pearl)

If his hiring of Todd Raleigh for the baseball program is the same kind of successful move is left to be seen. They did have a few good series in 2008 but still managed to finish last in the SEC East. Raleigh was considered a great hire because he was a good batting coach, but their batting average dropped a bit last year from the previous year.

It's easy to see what he's thinking...but, it's just as easy seeing him stumble a few times before he lands on the right guy.
