The guy put a lot of years into that program, and for that I have some respect.

Not I. Don't forget (though you may be too young) how Fulmer got the job by stabbing Coach Johnny Majors in the back. Karma's a b*tch

I bet CJM is one happy fellow right now. UT used to be my 2nd favorite team before xCPF did what he did the Coach Majors. It may become that way again.

Too much hate from the Vol fanbase for my tastes. I wish they would suspend the series for 5-10 years.

It's to late, it should have happened 7 or 8 years ago but it's to late to do that now.

He looked like a tired old man cool8)

Couple of the WTFs?

What was his wife hopping up on stage for during his statement?

Why did he single out a couple of reporters by name for questions? Even calling out one guy a second time to ask if he had a question. :?

Probably afraid of looking like a fool, oh wait...too late for that excuse.

It's not up to us to judge this man for what he did to our program or anything in his life, there is only 1 person in the end who he, and everyone else answers to for what they did here. He is still a human with a family and obviously has a huge passion for football considering how long the man has been involved in it. Yes I hated what he did to us, it was wrong on so many levels, but if thats what it takes for the world to keep us from rising to where we are headed, bring it on, it's all out of fear.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I just think it's funny so many people speak of hate and hoping he gets what he deserves while trying to act like a child of God. I thought we were classy? Whats done is done, get over it and move on.

But like I said, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and thats just mine.

Roll Tide.

I wish to choose my words carefully as this is a very delicate moment and deserves levity.

Here is what I have to say, and frankly, all he deserves:

I agree with most of this. Yeah he played a huge part in srewing BAMA over but now we are about to become a juggernaut and that doesn't matter anymore. He finally got what he deserved but i feel for his family and i don't think it'll be long before he lands somewhere else as an assistant or something. Saban has in a way helped in the payback in crushing Fulmer the past couple of years and i don't think Fulmer and Bowden will be the last coaches to be "Sabanated" with Tuberville in his sights. Until then ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!

Anyone have a link to the press conference? I wasn't able to be near the tube at the time.

Thanks.

I saw a little clip of it on ESPN, not the whole thing. You can go to Tennessee's main web site and they have it there, a link over on the right of the page.

http://www.utsports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/110308aad.html

But, it requires that you install Microsoft's Silverlight video technology, a small plugin kind of like Adobe's Flash.

I am not going to do it because I have tried it before and it didn't work too well.
