Why is the media and basically every other BAMA fan so amazed that BOB hasn’t been given an extension? It was always going to be a 2 year stint. They all act like a ā€œfiringā€ is coming!! Well, we know how CNS likes to do things. He allows his assistants to work through the back channels to find a job and when they do, he has a presser and thanks them for their time and wishes them well in their future. Sometimes, he gets on the phone and finds them a landing spot, like Tosh to the NFL.
Because they want Alabama to fail.

I will not believe that rumor until I see it official. People love spreading bull shit this time around.

The only one I'm certain of is Bill O'Brien will be coaching his last Alabama game this Saturday.
...and yet there's nothing official. šŸ™ƒ

UA was (maybe still is?) doing background work and seeing what needed to be done to get Pruitt back. I can state that with 100% confidence. They wouldn't have done that if Saban wasn't serious about hiring him in some capacity. Doesn't have to be for DC. Doesn't have to be on the field. Doesn't necessarily have to have Sankey's permission. But on the latter, based on how Saban and Byrne have conducted business in the past, I doubt they'd go against his wishes (even though they should if they wanted to at this point).

Another thing I'll add is, Jimmy Lake is a name to keep an eye on as well for a staff position. There was been some commutation there.

It's the Wild West in college football now. Be Doc Holliday and do whatever it takes and ask for forgiveness later. We know Saban can keep Pruitt under control and rehabilitate his image.

On a related note, I've heard HaHa is joining the staff.

I saw the video where the current guys threw him in the pool for the traditional birthday splash. I know he has always loved Alabama, so him being there wasn't a surprise, but it had me also wondering. Was a killer player for us, and I think could be a great leader for our secondary in terms of coaching.

This was recent. His birthday was December 21. He would be huge boost to the secondary, and the valuable inputs he can share with them. He knows the defense, and how to communicate. That's huge on back end of the defense.
