Gill is going to be a very outstanding coach. He has turned the Buffalo program around in short time. But I think he needs to pay his dues before he gets the reigns of a big time program like Auburn. Yes, while Auburn had a year that I would not wish on anyone, they are still a big time program with a rich history.

Hopefully they can make it a first for Gill's sake if he wants to be there, alot of positive things said about the man's coaching history.

I think this is the only good hire out there for the program. He is a fiery, classy guy -- something that will come as a culture shock to those guys on the plains.

Certain personalities work in Alabama and some dont -- I think it would be a great hire in this offseason. I suspect someone in that incompetent athletic department will screw it up, however.

I dont need your approval to speak my opinion about anything. The barns fans opinions have nothing to do with mine, So STFU!

I listened to AU callers call in and discuss Gill's accomplishments and chances on the Plains on my way thru south Alabama this morning.

Jox was also discussing it this afternoon and I have to agree it would be a big suprise to alot of folks to see them make that move. Thanks for choosing my source for your own discussion though. Classy. :wink:
