Valadao will win, and there are five other races outside of CA that will go to republicans. Current NYT count has Reps up 214 to 203. That leaves 18 unannounced. Dems would have to win 15 of the 18 to get the House. I just don't see it happening.

As far as nothing getting done, even if the Dems turn the House, the Executive Orders will flow, just as they did - but better - in Trump's first term, and they will reverse the aggressive progressive actions Biden put into place.

Stepping down, installing Kamala, picking a justice and getting them through the approval process - there isn’t enough time. Biden already bowed down to the Democrat hierarchy and it was a disaster. They would have to invoke the 25th Amendment, and that isn’t going to happen.

Ballots are still be manufactured and counted in the USA right now… There is absolutely no excuse for this…I hope the new coming government fixes elections nationwide by watermarks and block chain ballots..One vote one person..
Absentee ballots and mail ins should only be counted before the elections..

Yes, it just takes 218 to have a majority. Currently, the announced races (and counting one unannounced race that's between two republicans) have the republicans at 214, dems 203 with 18 more yet to be determined (total of 435), so the republicans only need to win four of the final 18 to have the majority. It would be nice to have several over the minimum to account for the odd maverick, or potential midterm departures from states with dem governors.
