Under the current structure we are basically slaves. I learned my lesson about showing a profit for my business last year. I’ll never do that again.. A book keeping error caused the monies to stay in the wrong account, so bing bang boom I get screwed!!!

60% plus interest, came up to almost 66% of my profit margin…

401k distributions are ordinary income, depends on your bracket. The rates will go up if the tax legislation expires, but 401k distributions won't be taxed at a higher rate than ordinary income, and they're not taxed at all until they are withdrawn. Once I retire, I'll probably move some extra money each year if it's within an acceptable bracket, probably as a Roth conversion, to salt in the tax rate.
