Rivals250 WR Quartney Davis has decommitted from Texas A&M
Houston (Texas) Langham Creek Rivals250 wide receiver
Quartney Davis has been committed to
Texas A&M since June, but Wednesday afternoon he decided to re-open his recruiting process.
THE LATEST: Davis used Twitter to announce his decommitment from Texas A&M, and he also announced his plans to take his official visits. He plans to take all five of them, and he is trying to figure out where those visits will be. He did take unofficial visits to
Baylor and
LSU for games during the 2015 season, and
Texas Tech, LSU,
Ole Miss, and Baylor stopped by the school earlier in December.
IN HIS WORDS: On what is next: "Right now I'm just trying to figure out the officials I want to take. As of right now I have Oklahoma State and UCLA, but I don't know if I'm going to take them for sure."
On if Texas A&M is still in the picture: "They are, but there's a lot going on right now."
WHAT'S NEXT: As he mentioned above, his current plans are to take official visits to Oklahoma State and UCLA. The Oklahoma State visit is scheduled for the January 15 weekend and he does not have a date for UCLA. He does not have any other plans at the moment and he is keeping his options open at this time.
