And 8 years, while not a long time in the matter of a lifetime, is forever for a football program. If 8 years ago you told me LSU would be good, I would have thought you meant baseball, basketball, or like women's golf, but not football.

Let me ask you this question. Is LSU's baseball team a team of the past?

If "yes," then shutup. The 90's were 8 years ago. Thats a long time. LSU baseball won a national championship in 2000, yet even I consider them a team of the past.

If "no," then you are not a basbeall fan, evidently.

Bama's football program has been ok at best the last 10 years. Its ok to go through a rough streak dont get your spiderman undies in a knot. Your program will soon get off its feet, so hush now.

We have a winning record versus LSU since 1983, as well.

tigerfan, I apologize for stepping in. I would like to say the following before removing myself from this situation.

In defense of LSUstudent, he has conducted himself okay for the most part. He has also been baited some by the regulars, including myself, but it was only in jest.

I think LSUstudent logged on this afternoon and saw the barrage of bayou's posts and got wrapped up in the hysteria. He's also probably a little wired since he had a test today. He has posted enough serious remarks that most folks around here do not look at him negatively.

And somebody is playing a joke on him with his sig.

Again, I apologize for stepping in, but since you are new and haven't been around all week, I just thought I needed to add those remarks.

With a few exceptions, LSUstudent has tried to restrain himself this week.
