So...can I assume you saw that too?
I did! Firsthand!! We used to play a ton of pick up games at the Rec, 4-5 days a week. I played with the same 4 guys and, not to sound arrogant, we were pretty damn good for 5 white guys, with no one over 6’3. We ran Jay and some other football guys straight off the floor on multiple occasions and it was NEVER close. The Jay we all saw on Saturdays on TV, wasn’t the same guy we abused at the Rec. He had a mouth that would make a sailor blush.

I watched a game or two in there. Shot around, never played. It would not shock me at all if I saw you there one time. The first time I saw him it was on a weekday and a few of them were in Foster.

Ohhhh, here we go...
We were 2 PE majors and 3 engineering majors all with decent HS basketball careers.
I came from a family of pretty good athletes. My dad and his 5 older brothers were all-state in various sports. The oldest one turned down a free ride to UA to play basketball to hep my grandmother raise his five younger brothers. My grandfather wasn’t around, so my Uncle was the “man of the house”. Another uncle was drafted out of HS by the Dodgers and then drafted by the Reds coming out of college. He was also drafted by the Atlanta Hawks.
My knack was rebounding, having a good vertical,38”, and being a quick leaper. The other guys could shoot it!!
