🏈 Third graders who pen letters to Alabama football players every week

I thought this was a pretty neat story worth sharing from the Daily Bama Blog.

"If you remember back a few months ago, I wrote about a class of third graders who pens letters to Alabama football players every week.

Well, they haven’t stopped yet. Teacher Emily Heisler of Mount Laurel Elementary in Shelby County said the weekly ritual continues and a few more students have met their players.
Reserve running back Ben Howell wrote back to his pen pal who “almost fainted he was so excited. He was shaking so much when he saw the envelope from The University that he could hardly open it!” Heisler said via email.....I also wrote about Molly who met her pal Courtney Upshaw after a game early in the season. They still keep in touch through post game talks at the family’s tailgating tent on the quad.Then there is Landry, another third grader in Heisler’s class. He writes both D.J. Fluker and Eddie Lacy. She got a chance to meet both after the Georgia Southern game on Nov. 19."

Thats a Teacher that has their priorities straight! :lol: Nice read, and I bet the players like that as much as the kids.
