I would in a heartbeat but it is where my wife is from. We lived in Alabama and southern middle Tennessee the first 8 years being married and moved to Ohio in 1990. My parents still live in Florence, Al.

Lived in Southern middle Tennessee,Winchester, as well. I didn't mind it much but never liked the fishing there. I'd prefer the Florence area.

Born and raised in Florence between Wilson Dam and Shoals Creek and we lived in Wayne Co. for 3 years.

Fished Wilson dam a few times but prefer fishing on Wilson below wheeler dam. I really like that area. That's where we were looking at moving to when I got the job in Tennessee. We were ready to get out of sw alabama so I took that offer instead of waiting.

Mom and dad live so close to Wilson Dam (above the dam) you can really hear the barges as they go through the lock.

Anyone near Muscle Shoals should go & tour Muscle Shoals Sound & Fame Studios. It’s unbelievable
