I would in a heartbeat but it is where my wife is from. We lived in Alabama and southern middle Tennessee the first 8 years being married and moved to Ohio in 1990. My parents still live in Florence, Al.

Fished Wilson dam a few times but prefer fishing on Wilson below wheeler dam. I really like that area. That's where we were looking at moving to when I got the job in Tennessee. We were ready to get out of sw alabama so I took that offer instead of waiting.
Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers
And they've been known to pick a song or two (yes, they do)
Lord, they get me off so much
They pick me up when I'm feeling blue, now how 'bout you?

We have definitely been blessed with a lot of snow this winter. High of 22 today, low of 2-3 tonight and we have had snow on the ground for two weeks straight. Snow blowers are wonderful!

I'm going back to something I mentioned early on in this thread: the tempature fluctuations.
I didn't look at the temp but can tell you it may have made it to 45 yesterday. When I got up a couple of hours ago it was 36 and it'll drop to about 30 or so by sunrise.
Here's the thing. Today, it'll be just over 60, back to 30 tonight. A 30 degree swing. Tuesday, it'll be in the low 70's. So, tonight through tomorrow I'll see 30 - 40 degree shifts in temps...in a matter of a few hours.
Yes, it makes me susceptible to catching "the sniffles." What I hate is shedding clothes...

Well today, we are going to hit 40 for a high. The previous 15-16 days we have had only one day that made it just above freezing. Tomorrow they are predicting 45-50! The only problem with the higher temps is that we now may have flooding with all the snow on the ground. BTW, it was 8 degrees this morning.
IF the forecast holds true we'll be returning to normal pretty soon. It likely will because it looks normal after these next two days. So, I'll see a few days a week in the 70's, the rest in the 60's, with the low's in the 40's. While it's been cold I've only had to put a jacket on once: raining that day.
