Allen will have more than his half-brother to keep him company in Berkeley. Two friends, defensive ends Chris McCain and Gabe King, also accepted scholarship offers from Cal. King, a former Greensboro resident who moved to Oregon last fall, was rated as a four-star recruit by analysts for Scout.com and Rivals.com. McCain, a former teammate of Allen's at Northern Guilford, got a four-star rating from Scout.com and three stars from Rivals.com.
