amazes me that the polls forget that both Florida and USC lost to unranked teams at the time.

Tech loses to a top 10 ranked team and falls below both of them, I can kinda see how they are below Florida, but I don't understand why they are below USC.
 
Seems like one of the fallacies of the polls is if you lose a game early in the season you can make up ground like USC and Florida have but if you lose a game late like Texas Tech you are just out of luck.......
 
In my opinion I dont see how they can jump them guys over Florida. Im by far a Florida fan but how do you fall down in the polls when you beat teams like they have been doing. I think TT was overrated. I really hope to see Oklahoma in the NC just because they have the best D in the big 12 in my opinion. The other big 12 teams would get spanked in a NC game. Just my opinion.
 
someone care to explain how Texas is #4 in both Coaches and Harris and somehow makes it to #2 in BCS...I don't understand how they can be 4th in 2/3 of the BCS votes and get to #2 by simply adding the computers.
