I think so too, but can you imagine a Saban team being ranked this low and the motivation he would have to go scorched earth? I'm hoping DeBoer is instilling that same fire. Based on what I've read here, it seems like the team is really bought in.

I graduated high school in May of '85. That fall the AP's pre-season poll had SMU at #3.

The Mustangs are ranked in this year's preseason polls at #25. It's the first season they've been ranked in the top 25 since that fall of '85.
