🏈 The anti-Bama campaign is alive and kicking tonight....

I don't know about that. All the LSU folks I know, me being among them, assume a rematch is at hand. We might not WANT to play Bama because we know Bama is the best team out there. Wouldn't LSU or Bama RATHER play Okie State? Of course.

I haven't been on your board since after the LSU game, but now that I'm sure "Round 2" is coming on January 9th, I'll be back discussing the next "Game of the Century" again!

I don't know about that, parrotdr. I did go over to Tigerdroppings>Tiger Rant and from what I read, about 25% of the fans feel the way you do. Others are adamant against a rematch to the point of wanting T. Boone to pay media outlets to play up the story of the OSU football team being so distraught over the women's basketball coach and assistant being killed in a plane crash that they couldn't play their best game against Iowa St. Really, I read that! Others feel it is our sense of entitlement and the media wanting the money match up. Others are hollering about us not winning our own division and that you should face a division champ, yadda, yadda, yadda.

TigerDroppings being my "home base", I don't doubt that you read that, although there is a lot of satire over there. As I said before, Nobody WANTS of play Bama, just as nobody WANTS to play LSU...but those are the two best teams in the country and IMO WILL be in the BCS NC game. As far as the media and the money wanting the matchup...no doubt, although I'm sure there's lots of anti-SEC sentiment outside of our part of the country.

My how people forget. IF OSU, Stanford, or Oregon had handled their business, everyone of those would've ended up ahead of 'Bama. But nobody did & they lost to moderate competition if not downright sucky competition. 'Bama is the best of the one lost teams...

Exactly how LSU got into the Big game in 2007...Missouri and West Virginia both lost the same night the Tigers bounced back and won the SEC.

Let's face it, there are a lot of people who do not want to see a BAMA-LSU rematch and I feel a screwing is looming. Don't believe it? Go check out Shane Youngblood's Twitter account. The guy who runs Heisman Pundit believes we don't deserve another shot because lost to LSU on our home field, blah blah blah..... Shane is making all the right arguments but no one is wanting to hear it.

Let's go Notre Dame tonight and Sooners next weekend and throw Clemson in there for good measure next week although they do not look capable of beating the Hokies again.

Um it's actually better for you guys if Stanford wins. They don't have the sos to leap Alabama or LSU and they would stay ahead of OSU in the human polls. OSU, if they win, will pass Alabama in the computer polls. Getting from 5 to 2 will be much more difficult if 3 and 4 both win.

If Stanford wins what? I see them headed to the Fiesta with an at-large invitation and don't see how that has a bearing on what happens Sunday with the polls.

I was referring to bamafan4ever pulling for Notre Dame. Having them as a buffer helps you guys since it's one more team OSU would need to climb and OSU is the only team that has a shot at catching Alabama.

OSU already passed Bama in several of the computer polls, they need one of the human polls to vote them ahead.

Alabama and OSU currently split the computer polls 4/2. If OSU wins they will own all of them based off their SOS. So having a couple of teams in between Alabama and OSU in the human polls will help. Either way OSU will need to win by 3+ scores and hold OU under 20 to have a chance to catch Alabama.
