If Ohio State stays in the top 4, it's rigged and conference championships mean nothing. How can you stay in the top 4 when you aren't even playing for your conference championship?

Of course it’s rigged. This commitee never uses the metrics they say they do to determine their rankings.They are hoping Bama beats Georgia and then they can omit the SEC from the playoffs. They would like to have 2 Big 10 teams ( Michigan and Ohio St.) a Pac 12 ( Washington or Orgeon) a Big 12 ( Texas). This way they can make everyone believe that conference champions mean a lot.

Chaos has begun. #2 tOSU loses to Michigan. I don't know how the Committee can include a team that doesn't win their division much less their conference.

The Sugar Bowl is part of the CFP this year. Most likely Alabama would go to the Peach Bowl.

That’s what happens when you have conference tie ins with bowls. The conference is obligated.

Yup. I think major bowl games should select based on a rotational basis and not be contractually obligated.
