🏈 Team update 2.0

I always forget the rule on RS a player.... they can play a certain amount and still qualify right? So it is possible we see Barnett in the opener, and then RS if the coaches feel it's better right?
No. A single second of game play burns the RS

You may be thinking of medical exceptions that can be applied for if a RS season has been used, the player suffers a season ending injury, and has played less than, I think, 30% of a season

That's right... was thinking something along the lines of playing less than X% within the first X games or something.

It's built that way, but I haven't finished configuring it yet. I started getting into that the other day when it was launched. It'll run on what is basically a promotion type of system. BUT, here's where I got ... well, stuck.

I really don't care for promotions based on post count that are titled recruit, redshirt, freshmen, etc. because it seems like you see that everywhere. That's one of the reasons I went with the "Verified Member" status like you see in the following thumbnail.

I'll get back into it soon ... shopping for a generator today and it's a bit of a priority versus finishing this up.
Yes, Tropical Storm Danny is out there. I am not worried about a generator, however I am stocking up on quality rum. But I agree on the basic priorities principle.

Wednesday marked the first day of school and the first day of an expanded roster as the team worked outside. Here is what I saw during the media viewing period.

Jake Coker was at practice and threw with the rest of the quarterbacks. During one drill he did a boot leg pass. That's pretty impressive considering the toe injury he sustained.

The quarterbacks were split into two groups: One group contained (in order): Jake Coker, Alec Morris and Cooper Bateman. The other had Blake Barnett and David Cornwell.

Cam Sims was back at practice running drills in a black jersey. This is especially remarkable considering the major knee injury he sustained. He wore a brace on his left knee and favored the leg slightly. Still, it was impressive to see him this far along after major knee surgery.

Wide receivers went through drills in the following order: to the left it was ArDarius Stewart, Richard Mullaney, Cam Sims, Daylon Charlot and Chris Black. To the right it was Calvin Ridley, Derek Kief, Deionte Thompson and Robert Foster. Remember that Black and Foster are dinged.

Anthony Averett was spotted before practice wearing a black, no-contact jersey.

The running backs went through drills in the following order: Derrick Henry, Kenyan Drake, Damien Harris, Bo Scarbrough, Ronnie Clark, Derrick Gore and Xavian Markshttp:

A couple observations from the other side of the field:

Saw Anfernee Jennings dressed and participating today. Think that's the first time he's practiced this fall. He was in a black noncontact jersey, working with the OLBs.

At inside linebacker, saw Reggie Ragland and Shaun Dion Hamilton together, so I'd assume they're the 1s now, or at least in a package together.

During one defensive line drill, the first three to go through were Pettway, Reed and Lake.

But could he do the bootleg while wearing a boot, on his leg?

There is one other exception where you can apply to the NCAA for another year if a RS was burned due to a coaches mistake. I think Hanks benefited from that a few years back.

What has happened to Raheem Falkins? A lot of the players who have since left the program were very high on him. Even mentioning him along with OJ Howard their freshman year as players to look out for. Now I'm not even seeing him listed in practice notes when line orders are given.
