ANOTHER UNBEATEN KNOCKED OFF

Well BYU fell from the ranks of the unbeaten Thursday night. TCU dominated them and they looked real good.

Yes, once again, we see another example where an offense spreads it out and gets a lot of attention because of their offense.

Then, they run into a team that has a strong running game and a good defense and they can't handle a physical football game.

Turnovers killed BYU last night. No doubt.

That pointed out, anytime you see a team rush for 240 yards and that same team holds their opponent to less than 25 yards on the ground...

You get the picture.

It really had nothing to do with the spread but everything to do with emotion. BYU came out flat and got beat, just like we did against ULM in 2007. You have to match a teams emotion to have a chance.

:?:

What are you saying here?

BYU doesn't spread it out and didn't get a lot of attention due to the offensive numbers they were putting on the board?

That was the point.

And, when they ran into a football team (something they really haven't faced this year) who relied on basic football instead of flyin' the ball around it was an obstacle they couldn't overcome.

That's my point Coug. Same point applies to teams like Mizzou, etc.
