I'm sure there'll be a dozen, "I don't care, not watching!!!" comments. That's fine. Pretty much the rest of the world will be... should be a pretty good game. I'd normally go with the better QB in this game, and Mahomes and the Chiefs are built for these games and are on a roll right now. I guess gun to head, I'd still go with them... but the 49ers have a ton of weapons and I don't see Kyle Shanahan flubbing this one again. Either way, I hope it's a tight game. Would be nice if Kelce dropped a key pass in a key situation too... or even better, got an unsportsmanlike penalty that killed their GW drive.

Normally, I'm weighing QB's against each other and then the head coaches, skill guys...Bama is mixed in there as well.

I'm left with this: I wouldn't mind seeing Reid get his third ring.

I’m reluctantly hosting a Super Bowl party. Pork butt and white BBQ chicken sliders. Plus whatever the other people bring, which I know includes Conecuh and dip. One attendee (former bartender) has already arrived and transformed the kitchen into a mini bar. I doubt half the people (about 10 or so) will make it past halftime.

There's a few I was invited to attend. The close it gets to kickoff the closer it gets to me staying put. IF I do go anywhere...I'll be home by half, if not before. I can feel it in the air. We're about to get one of those weird coastal front coming through.

Hell, I've already been eating all day. A cold shrimp salad finished "setting up" about 10 this morning and I've been hitting it constantly since then.

(OT: I ended up getting 2 lbs of fresh shrimp this morning a little cheaper than what I saw a pound of ground chuck in Publix this week.)

My pick. Hate to pull for Chiefs but 49ers are like TN for me. I’m also a packers fan, so hate SF. I really wanted to see Detroit make it. I like what they’re doing up there.
