📝 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kendrick Blackshire - Texas ILB - commits to Alabama (w/ video highlights)

Big time prospect & pick up for the good guys!

Clearly looks the part... More physically mature than even some of the elite prospects we sign.

I do look at his measurables though and wonder how well he will be able to cover. He's a big, mustcular, physical dude... Which doesn't always translate to covering space. Also coming off a serious ACL injury. Kind of reminds me of Reggie Ragland out of HS, who obviously transitioned well... Granted, the college game has continue to evolve... But I'm sure he would have been a great one in 2020 also.

No brainer to take him, especially with the needs at ILB. We've been rolling! RTR

Blackshire speaks:
He already knows what his role will be.

“What I do is stop the run, and that’s what they want me to do,” he says. “They want me to run sideline to sideline and stop the run. Simple. That’s where I’ll fit in. They have the big boys in front of me to let me run free.”

Any word on how he's playing this year? (If they've played?)

He was coming off a serious injury, I was worried he wouldn't have played for 2 years before getting on the practie field @ UA. Glad to see him back in the mix... Dude looks like a monster. RTR
