🏈 Spring camp 2025 -

I haven't really paid attention to who or what it is, but I now have this site on Google that pops up on my phone and they really seem to be attempting to drive a wedge between the team and talk about "issues Deboer is facing" with competition and his new recruits. Weird that is just started popping up. Next time I'll track it and get the name. I say that because it's similar what you mentioned.
Think they just use the headlines for click bait. I read a few of those type articles and there's usually nothing there that warrants the title so I just skip the ones that read like drama.

Exactly! You're probably right. Just crazy how they started popping up. Like you said, not much meat in those articles about anything related to the title. Just strange.

Something I found a little funny.

I've never trusted Kyle Henderson. A few days ago he published a bit about how Russell was dominating practice only to follow it a day later with G-Mac saying Ty had the position as QB1. (Something you may have read here, at some point, a few times.)

What kills me is he's actively trying to create QB story lines. #fakenews?

DEFINITELY. As well with many others. Just trying to create content traffic, even if is marginally correct. Not just him either. I'm sick of it.

Ten years ago you could get some fairly solid info from the "recruiting sites." It's turned to shit; save a very select few. When you have a guy that covered a PAC team now under the "insider" label for Bama? Nope. Let me repeat. Nope.

This tell me DeBoer has settled in and there is no drama.

I've seen several outlets report on Ty this week. It's framed "breaking news." And it is the thing we've been saying since January.

Horton is the SEC’s highest-paid receiver. It’d be an interesting business decision to choose a starting quarterback not named Simpson. What would that say to future Alabama recruits if Horton committed to a team that didn’t start his “guy”?

I have a hard time believing this to be true.

80 percent of the news we pick up is crap, either quoting someone's "take" from another media site, talking about fan reaction to an event or story, or just flat copying something from somewhere else. In other words, sitting at their chair vomiting content - not doing the job when I think of what a reporter should do.

I've been deleting Athlon stories, miss a few, and if something says, "Alabama fans react to...", it's gone.

I've had a half of a dozen or ideas on how to block Athlon and none of them have worked. There are instructions on how to filter News.Google, and that hasn't worked. Hell, been playing with it today while dealing with T-Mobile and Samsung (Google play is out of whack.)

I've got a few other ideas, three to be exact, that vary in time and effort to put together just to see if they'll work.
