Like 50 said, think it’s going to be a rough year. Got no Montana to wear out pitching and the batting average will drop playing better teams. 2-7 against top 25.

Basically, it boils down to... hitting is improved from last year, but pitching has declined. There's quantity, not usual Bama quality. If they could just get last year's level of pitching back, they would be fine. But then added to that, the defense has been awful. Last year, they had little margin for error due to the anemic bats. This is, it's same razor thin margin, but because of the pitching. Some poor defensive plays have swung too many games out of Bama's favor. On top of it all, you can see that team has lost their confidence. Like each game is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. They need a couple of girls step up somehow, some way, and reverse that trend. Soon.

To a degree it should, but they've played some good tems/pitchers in non-conference too.
