I'll give NDSU some credit... for what they have on their roster, they get the most out of it. Well coached group that plays hard. Way overmatched by Bama's talent, but they didn't shy any from any of it.

There are more seats sold that most realize... people just don't show up to all the games. If the people who had season tickets actually showed up, or passed the tickets to other people at a rate like we are seeing in basketball right now, attendance would be pretty stout. As mentioned, the SEC slate will bring a little more to the park too. I don't know if we will ever see it filled series in and series out. Fans show up for rivals at times and they will show up for hosting regionals... but I think to get over the hump, UA would have to reel off some years where they get into the CWS consistently and maybe even win it.

I will say this, and this isn't a guess because I hear about it first hand frequently... many fans who would like to attend more often (with kids) simply can't afford it. It's hard to take a kid(s) to a game and not let them enjoy a hotdog, drink, and nachos. But when most of the stuff on the menu costs as much or more than the $8 or $10 game ticket, that shit adds up quick. And to take it a step further, most of the food is terrible... like some shit out of a Circle K. There needs to be a massive overhaul of how the food and tickets are handled for families at all events but especially at baseball games.
