We have a couple of options on staff right now, Tosh Lupoi and Mel Tucker. Either one would do an excellent job. If Saban goes off the reservation for a hire, it could possibly be Jeremy Pruitt. I think any friction that may have existed earlier, came between he and Smart, not the boss man!

I don't think Lupoi has the experience Tucker has had, so I would say Tucker (DC for the Bears for 4 years).

My guesses for future coordinators and this isn't "inside" anything.
DC-Mel Tucker (coached db's under Saban at LSU and NFL coaching experience)
OC- Freddie Kitchens (Big Bama ties, and currently QB coach in the NFL)
I think we go this route to stay inline with our theme great coaches and recuiter that are putting players in the NFL with their NFL experience and knowledge.

He's nearly the same loose cannon that Muschamp is. I know Saban can reel in his assistants far better than any other coach, but Pellini showed at Nebraska that he's a tad too...high strung.
